When you register to participate in the school exhibition, or when you choose to engage our services, subscribe, call or email us, or otherwise provide information to us, we will collect information directly from you. We will also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. In line with data protection laws we are only able to process personal data where we have a valid reason to do so.
The following are examples of information that we may collect directly from you:
• Your name, email, telephone number
• Your child’s name and age, your child’s school and school year, your child’s educational background and history.

Information Usage and Storage

We will use your personal data to fulfil our role as education consultants and school exhibition organisers, meet our contractual obligations, send you information about the education sector or other information which we think may be of interest to you and deliver a high quality service to clients. We may subscribe you to our newsletter, if your express permission was granted. Our website uses cookies to manage logged-in user sessions and authentication. If any of the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or out of date, you may ask us to correct it.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

The information you provide to Waypoints may be sent to Schools, tutors and/or tutoring companies, education consultants, education psychologists or other persons involved in the school search process. They may also be provided to our exhibition partners and sponsors for their marketing purposes. Other than sharing information on the basis outlined above we will keep your personal information confidential and will not pass it on to any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.
